An independent charity
PAS are the only charity in the country that offer free, independent legal advice to prisoners. In order to maintain their independence, PAS do not accept money from the government and their website is therefore a vital tool for attracting potential donors.
PAS set 4 goals for their updated website: user friendly CMS, easy to find content, a clean design and a focus on donations. With these in mind I restructured the site map, sketched wireframes for all page templates and created a couple of design choices to discuss with the client. From here we collaborated with the amends and I proceeded to final build. I then provided full CMS training to members of staff who continue to maintain the website.
Since launching there has been a large increase in donations via the website. This is largely helped by the donation 'call to action' which is equally prominent as the main navigation throughout the site.
Due to the Wordpress build and clearly custom templated design, the client has since added/edited their own pages and content whilst retaining the site design and content flow.
Quicklinks are featured throughout the site to make it easy to access the most visited pages and to push donations.
Resource documents and key information had to be easily accessable to service users and potential donors.
